In late January 2019, Golden Dragon Melamine became the first and only brand in Indonesia to receive Halal Certification with an A grade for the melamine tableware category (plates, bowls, cups, party sets, and other melamine products) from LPPOM MUI (The Assessment Institute for Foods, Drugs, and Cosmetics of the Indonesian Ulema Council), which is the authorized Halal certification body responsible for audits, fatwa issuance, and the granting of Halal certificates in Indonesia. This is in accordance with Minister of Religious Affairs Decree (KMA) No. 518/2001 and KMA No. 519/2001.
